The Pangolin is Always the Hero!

The pangolin may rank as one of the more obscure animals in the world (less so after google cast the spot light on it briefly) but it’s not for lack of publication.  Many authors have tried to bring attention to the pangolin.

Also, author Bryan Appleyard in an interview with Philip Pullman (author of the Golden Compass, in which every human has an animal daemon who is their spiritual companion) tells Pullman his daemon is, obviously, a pangolin.
